Making of Chyavanaprasam includes preparing a herbal decoction, followed by powder extract preparation, addition of jaggery, subsequent mixture with honey, and addition of aromatic herb powders as standard. The finished product has a fruit jam-like consistency, and a sweet, Astringent, sour, and spicy flavour.
